The Final storm of June
The storm has finally settled down in June, after two weeks of intesive battles, the champion has finally been decided. It was an amazingly close match between Team WM & Team Recognize, but in the end, only one team could be the champion.
CONGRATULATIONS TO TEAM RECOGNIZE AS THEY ARE THE JUNE CHAMPION OF THE TOURNAMENT!!!

Team Recognize not only walks away 4 Caviar Black HDD & RM200 but also the chance to fight at the Tournament of Champions for the chance to walk away with another RM1000!

The storm for the month of June is finally coming to an end, today it stormed through Blitzone and as a result: 2 survived, 1 died and 1 was never to be found again.
Teams that participated on the 27th June 2009:
- Team WM
- Team APC
-Team KrixxKroxx
-Team MW2
The first session was meant to be a battle between Team KrixxKroxx and Team MW2, but unfortunately Team KrixxKroxx did not show up, Team MW2 automatically qualified for the Quarter finals.
As for the second session, both Team Wm & Team APC managed to defeat Team Blackstorm and as a result they both had to fight it off against one another to see who will make it into the quarter finals. In the end, the stronger team prevailed and Team WM walked out victorious.
As the matches ended earlier than expected, Team MW2 & Team WM, requested to play their quarter final matches earlier to determine who can make it into the finals with Team Recognize. In the end, once again Team WM came out on top. So it seems its set to be a huge battle as the line up for the finals are amazing:

Both had survived the storm and now only one more match that will determine who is the best. Who will be the Champion? WM or Recognize? Come tomorrow, 9am blitzone and we shall see who will come out on top

Halfway through the storm
The semi-finals for the first two weeks were played earlier as the teams requested for an earlier match. It was played last night against Team Recognize & Team M2T
Although it was long and hard fought battle, in the end Team Recognize prevailed again and set themselves up as the first semi-finalist for this Sunday’s tournament. Who will their opponent be? Only time will tell.
In the meantime, congratulations to Team Recognize yet again!

Be sure to continue to check out both this site OR the Facebook group since we will be announcing more updates while we post more pictures and videos from the WD Operation Blackstorm Left4Dead tourney.
This week is slated to be another blast. The 4 teams have already been selected while the entry slots are beginning to fill up very fast. So those of you who are still considering, you guys better hurry up and decide. If you need the entry form, you can get it HERE. After all, playing is FREE and you will stand a chance to win so many cool Western Digital products and perhaps even gun for the RM1,000 is grand prize.
Besides playing Left4Dead at Blitzone in these upcoming weekends, we’d like to highlight the BLACK drives being given away during the Operation Blackstorm tournament. These BLACK drives are the latest from WD offering unmatched performance for heavy computing users such as gamers.

The Storm is HERE!!!
Do you have what it takes to survive the BlackStorm?
The storm has finally begun, its sweeping through Blitzone, who will strong enough to survive the storm and who will perish to the might of the storm? Only time will tell.
The Left 4 Dead challenge has finally hit Blitzone, starting on the 20th June 2009, teams with fight against the BlackStorm team to vie for a spot in the monthly tournaments to get a chance to win cash prizes up to RM10,000.
The challenge is simple, think of it as the EPL of L4D, every Saturday of the monthselected teams will play in qualifying rounds to earn a chance to join the monthly tournament which will be held on the last Sunday of the month.
Teams will have to each play against the BlackStorm team to see if they are qualified enough to join the tournament. There are three ways to join the tournament:
1. Beat the BlackStorm team (only if the other team loses)- Team1 (Win) & Team 2 (loses)- Team 1 automatically qualifies
2. If both teams lose to the BlackStorm team, both losing teams will have to fight against one another to earn the spot into the tournament- Team 1 (lose) & Team 2 (lose)- Both teams fight for the spot
2. If both teams beat the BlackStorm team, both winning teams will have to fight against one another to earn the spot into the tournament- Team 1 (Win) & Team 2 (Win)- Both teams fight for the spot
Thus by the end of the month on the last Sunday, a minimum of 4 teams (there will be more, if more teams participate) will fight it out in a tournament style to determine who is the Monthly Tournament Champion- They will walk away with 4 WD Caviar Black HDD & RM200.
After two months, two Champions will rise from the tournament. The two Champions will then fight it out again, to secure the chance to play the BlackStorm team again for another RM1000!
